These pop-up guides were a real ‘labour of love’. They're a beautiful combination of helpful information design and evocative textural illustrations.
The illustrations evolved from photographs we took of the dramatic architecture of the New Cathedral. We developed the style incorporating photographs of textures found around the Cathedral. The textures chosen effectively communicate a Coventrian atmosphere, particularly the verdi-gris copper and sandstone bricks.
